Job summary

J.Jill is a national lifestyle brand with over 200 stores, seeking a Sales Lead to support store leadership in driving sales and team development. You will build meaningful customer connections and deliver an exceptional shopping experience while embracing a fun, inclusive culture.

You will train and coach team members, maintain product knowledge, and contribute to achieving sales targets in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail experience, ideally in women’s specialty retail or a customer-obsessed environment.
• Passion for customer service and building meaningful relationships.
• Strong ability to support, inspire, and motivate a team.
• Proven track record of contributing to sales and customer engagement.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Act as a role model by developing and maintaining strong customer relationships through genuine interactions.
• Support in training and developing team members, leading by example, and providing coaching.
• Help drive store performance by identifying customer needs and contributing to sales targets.
• Maintain deep product knowledge to support confident purchasing decisions.
• Assist with store operations including opening/closing, visual merchandising, and inventory management.
• Take ownership of responsibilities and address challenges with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Navigate communication across different levels of the organization.
• Perform additional responsibilities to help the store be successful.
