Job summary

J.Jill is seeking a passionate Sales Lead to support store leadership in driving sales and team development, delivering an exceptional shopping experience and engaging with the community.

You will train and coach staff, build lasting customer relationships, stay knowledgeable about products, and help with operations, scheduling, and store standards to keep the brand simple and meaningful.

Qualifications

• 1+ year retail experience.
• Passion for customer service and building relationships.
• Strong ability to support, inspire and motivate a team.
• Proven track record of contributing to sales and engagement.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Act as a role model by developing and maintaining strong customer relationships and supporting community engagement.
• Assist in training and developing team members, providing coaching and support for team success.
• Help drive store performance by identifying customer needs and providing styling recommendations.
• Maintain deep knowledge of J.Jill products to assist customers in confident purchasing decisions.
• Assist with store operations, including opening/closing, visual merchandising, floor sets, inventory, and policy adherence.
• Own assigned responsibilities, address challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, support leadership.
• Communicate across organizational levels, tailoring messages for diverse audiences.
• Perform additional duties to help the store succeed.
