Dollar General is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to help maintain a clean, well-organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist customers in locating and purchasing merchandise, operate a cash register, stock and recover merchandise, and support the Store Manager in leadership duties.

Ideal candidates have strong interpersonal skills, cash handling experience, and the ability to read planograms.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Six months of supervisory experience preferred.
• Retail or cashier experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide superior customer service leadership and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to total purchases and process payments.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate on shelves; build displays.
• Clean the store; manage trash, floors, restrooms, and stockroom.
• Assist in planogram implementation and maintenance.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
• Perform duties of Store Manager or Assistant Manager in their absence.

Educación

High school diploma or equivalent

Six months supervisory experience

Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills

Planogram and merchandise presentation

Cash handling and POS operations

Mathematical calculations (percentages, etc.)

Safety policies and practices

Vehicle for bank deposits or transportation to bank
