Belk is seeking a Selling Lead in the United States to drive store performance by building strong team and customer relationships and delivering memorable shopping experiences. You will support, coach, and collaborate with store operations to meet sales and service goals.

The role emphasizes customer engagement, event support, and maintaining visual merchandising standards while contributing to omnichannel initiatives.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of retail experience.
• Comfortable with technology and devices (smartphones/tablets).
• Able to lift and move 40 lbs and stand/walk extended periods.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Maintain and communicate store policies and promotions.

Responsibilities

• Drive store results through customer relationships and product connection.
• Create memorable store experiences by engaging customers, clienteling, and events.
• Greet and assist customers to provide personalized service.
• Process transactions accurately and address inquiries with professionalism.
• Lead by example to improve selling behaviors and onboard new associates.
• Utilize selling tools and devices to support omnichannel experiences and inventory knowledge.
• Maintain visual merchandising and store cleanliness aligned with brand standards.
• Foster associate engagement and celebrate team successes.
• Support store recovery, stock replenishment, and risk/asset protection processes.
