Qualifications

• Enrolled in undergrad or grad program in Marketing, Sales, Chemical Engineering, or business.
• GPA 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale; official transcript required.
• Sophomore year completed (60 credits) before first rotation.
• Full-time availability (40 hours/week) May–August 2027; not eligible for virtual work.
• Valid US driver's license.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead at least three hands-on projects during the term; defined at rotation start.
• Analyze customer, market, and sales data to identify trends and insights.
• Assist with customer relationship management and reporting.
• Conduct market and competitive research to identify growth opportunities.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and materials for sales planning and decision-making.

Focus:

The Sales Intern will support Commercial teams through maintaining customer relationships, market analysis, sales planning, and business development initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in sales strategy, customer engagement, and commercial operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects throughout the term, to be defined at the beginning of the rotation based on department and business need
• Analyze customer, market, and sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and business insights
• Support customer relationship management, including maintaining records, preparing reports, and assisting with communications
• Conduct market and competitive research to help identify growth opportunities and support sales strategies
• Prepare presentations, reports, and other materials to support sales planning, customer meetings, and commercial decision-making

What You’ll Bring:

• Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate or graduate Marketing, Sales, Chemical Engineering, or business-related degree program (or pending enrollment in a Master's program in one of these disciplines)
• Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin. An official transcript will be required each term. Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations.
• Must have completed sophomore year (or 60 completed credit hours) prior to first rotation with Olin
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours a week during normal business hours) May-August 2027. Not eligible for virtual work.
• A valid US Driver's license is required*
