Responsibilities

• Handle order management activities including routine order entry and follow-up.
• Report order visibility and review blocked orders to ensure timely delivery and invoicing.
• Enter and track quality notifications for service issues.
• Retrieve customer output documents as needed.
• Analyze key performance metrics to support customer service objectives.

ALL IN for Opportunity. ALL IN with Olin. Title: Commercial Customer Service Intern. Location: McIntosh, AL. Salary: $25.00 / hour for undergraduate students; $33.00 / hour for graduate students.

Focus: The Commercial Customer Service Intern supports the customer service team through order management, quality notifications, customer analysis, and routine order activities.

What You’ll Do

• Perform order management activities, including routine customer order activities and order entry
• Report order visibility and blocked orders review to ensure timely delivery and invoicing on shipped products
• Enter quality notifications to capture service failures
• Retrieve customer output documents
• Evaluate and analyze key performance metrics

What You’ll Bring

• Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate or graduate Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related degree program (or pending enrollment in a Master’s program in one of these disciplines)
• Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin. An official transcript will be required each term. Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the rotation or continuously throughout the year (can be part-time while taking classes)
