Job summary

Olin is seeking a Marketing Intern (Summer 2027) in Houston, TX to support commercial teams by analyzing data and identifying opportunities. The role includes exposure to product management, strategy, analytics, and planning within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include leading projects, analyzing data trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Housing stipend is available; must be enrolled in a marketing/related program with GPA 3.0+ and a valid US driver's license.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college or university majoring in Marketing, SCM, Operations Management, or business-related degree.
• GPA 3.0+ on a 4.0 scale; official transcript required each term.
• Sophomore year completed (60 credits) prior to first rotation.
• Full-time availability (40 hours/week) May–August 2027; not eligible for virtual work.
• Valid US driver's license required.

Title: Marketing Intern (Summer 2027)

Location: Houston, Texas (Near Katy, Texas)

Salary: $25.00 / hour for undergraduate students; $33.00 / hour for graduate students

Focus: The Marketing Intern will support Commercial teams by analyzing data, identifying improvement opportunities, and staying ahead of industry trends. This role provides exposure to product management, commercial strategy, market analytics, and business planning within a manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do:

• Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects throughout the term, to be defined at the beginning of the rotation based on department and business need
• Analyze sales, profitability, and market data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for business improvement
• Assist with evaluating customer, product, and market performance to support strategic decision-making
• Maintain and update key business information, including customer, product, market, and competitive data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product management, customer engagement, and business-planning projects

What You'll Bring:

• Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate or graduate Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or business-related degree program (or pending enrollment in a Master's program in one of these disciplines)
• Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin. An official transcript will be required each term. Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations.
• Must have completed sophomore year (or 60 completed credit hours) prior to first rotation with Olin
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours a week during normal business hours) May-August 2027. Not eligible for virtual work.
• A valid US Driver's license is required
