Title: Sales Intern (Summer 2027)

Location: Houston, Texas (Near Katy, Texas)

Salary: $25.00 / hour for undergraduate students; $33.00 / hour for graduate students

Focus: The Sales Intern will support Commercial teams through maintaining customer relationships, market analysis, sales planning, and business development initiatives. This role provides hands‑on experience in sales strategy, customer engagement, and commercial operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead a minimum of three hands‑on projects throughout the term, to be defined at the beginning of the rotation based on department and business need
• Analyze customer, market, and sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and business insights
• Support customer relationship management, including maintaining records, preparing reports, and assisting with communications
• Conduct market and competitive research to help identify growth opportunities and support sales strategies
• Prepare presentations, reports, and other materials to support sales planning, customer meetings, and commercial decision‑making

What You’ll Bring:

• Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate or graduate Marketing, Sales, Chemical Engineering, or business‑related degree program (or pending enrollment in a Master’s program in one of these disciplines)
• Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin. An official transcript will be required each term. Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations.
• Must have completed sophomore year (or 60 completed credit hours) prior to first rotation with Olin
• Ability to work full‑time (40 hours a week during normal business hours) May‑August 2027. Not eligible for virtual work.
• A valid US Driver's license is required
