Job summary

Olin Chemicals is seeking a Business Planning Intern in Houston for a May–August 2027 term. The intern will work with Planning, Transportation and Logistics teams on supply chain and logistics projects.

Undergraduate or graduate students will be compensated at $25/hour or $33/hour, respectively, with a housing stipend available. Candidates must be US-authorized to work and commit to a 40-hour work week; on-site only, no virtual work.

Qualifications

  • Must have GPA 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times during the program.
  • Must have completed sophomore year (60 credits) prior to first rotation.
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) May–August 2027.
  • Not eligible for virtual work; US work authorization required.
  • Valid US Driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects throughout the term, defined at rotation start based on department needs.
  • Assist with chemical demand planning and tracking, including order control and estimates.
  • Support rail and truck planning and scheduling; conduct data analysis and process improvement/automation as needed.

What You’ll Do:

What You’ll Bring:

Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate or graduate Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or business-related degree program (or pending enrollment in a Master's program in one of these disciplines)Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin. An official transcript will be required each term. Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations.Must have completed sophomore year (or 60 completed credit hours) prior to first rotation with OlinAbility to work full-time (40 hours a week during normal business hours) May-August 2027. Not eligible for virtual work.A valid US Driver's license is required.*Olin does not provide any form of sponsorship.
