Job summary

Republic Services in Texas is seeking a Sales Supervisor to assist the Sales Manager by planning, organizing, directing and coordinating the sales function for the division to maximize sales volume and profitable growth. You will also help develop the sales staff and manage assigned accounts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Two or more years of progressive experience in a sales role, including experience training, mentoring, coaching, setting standards and/or acting as a resource for others.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to train and coach individuals and teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales coaching and training to individuals and teams to improve results.
• Support field leadership in implementing business strategies and marketing plans.
• Supervise a staff of sales professionals and participate in hiring, training, coaching and performance management.
• Oversee pricing initiatives and ensure metrics are achieved.
• Assist with new customer solicitation, bids and retention strategies.
• Monitor CRM activity and ensure robust customer profiles and acquisition efforts.
• Maintain accountability for sales goals and budget performance.
• Proactively contact accounts to identify needs and opportunities.
