Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in a retail environment OR 5 years of experience in a retail environment.
• 1 year of experience in customer service.
• 1 year of experience supporting Pro customers (for Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience providing direction or supervision to teams.
• Experience supporting or participating in training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Experience Using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable a team of associates to deliver the best customer experience.
• Coach and train staff, delegate tasks, and monitor daily performance.
• Ensure department coverage, safety walks, and hazard reporting.
• Handle customer-facing activities and store operations (down stocking, inventory).
• Collaborate with leaders to share best practices and motivate the team.
• May open/close the store or serve as manager-on-duty (MOD) occasionally.
• Travel to meetings/trainings or to support neighboring stores when needed.
