Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor in the United States. This role leads and enables a team of associates to deliver the best possible customer experience in the store, coaching and training staff, delegating tasks, and ensuring department coverage.

The supervisor handles customer-facing activities, down-stocking, inventory, and safety walks, while collaborating with leaders to meet sales and service objectives. Occasional MOD shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or 3+ years of retail experience.
• 1 year of experience in customer service is required.
• 1 year of experience supporting Pro customers (Pro Department Supervisor) is desired.
• Experience providing direction or supervision to teams (with or without direct reports).
• Experience supporting or participating in training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross‑functionally.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales licensure or registration as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable a team of associates to deliver the best customer experience in the store.
• coach and train associates, delegate tasks, and follow up on daily tasks.
• Manage performance and ensure adequate department coverage while handling customer‑facing activities and store safety.
• Communicate best practices to the team to drive customer‑focused behavior and goal attainment.
• Supervise associates in other departments as needed to meet store demands.
