Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team of associates, deliver outstanding customer service, and ensure a clean, safe, well-stocked store. You will coach, delegate tasks, monitor performance, and coordinate with leaders to meet sales and service goals.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with retail experience, strong communication, and the ability to work morning to evening shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of retail experience, or 5 years in retail.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Experience supporting Pro customers (Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience directing or supervising teams (with or without direct reports).
• Experience training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales licensure or registration as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of associates to deliver the best customer experience.
• Provide resources and input to merchandising decisions and area recovery.
• Monitor safety and lifting procedures; coach on safe behaviors.
• Oversee customer-facing and non-customer-facing tasks; ensure department coverage.
• Occasionally open or close the store or serve as manager-on-duty.
• Travel may be required to meetings or trainings for neighboring stores.
