Job summary

Lowe's in the United States is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team of associates in delivering a top-notch customer experience. You will coach staff, delegate tasks, and ensure daily execution across customer-facing and back-office responsibilities.

You will guide down-stocking, inventory control, safety walks, and area recovery while contributing to merchandising decisions. Some roles may require MOD duties and occasional travel for meetings or trainings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of retail experience OR 5 years in retail.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year supporting Pro customers (for Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience directing or supervising teams (with or without direct reports).
• Experience mentoring and developing associates.
• Cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to obtain required sales licensure if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable a team of associates to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Coach, train, and delegate daily tasks; monitor performance and coverage.
• Engage customers, identify solutions, and close sales while ensuring store safety.
• Oversee down-stocking, inventory and area recovery activities; support merchandising decisions.
• May open/close the store or serve as MOD; occasionally travel for meetings or trainings.
