Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team of associates and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced home improvement environment.

You will coach, train, and delegate daily tasks, maintain department coverage, and oversee safety and merchandising while guiding cross-functional collaboration to meet store goals. Occasional MOD duties and light travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 3 years retail experience or 5 years retail experience.
• Experience in customer service and supervising teams.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable a team of associates to deliver the best customer experience.
• Coach and train staff, delegate tasks, follow up on daily tasks and manage performance.
• Ensure department coverage, oversee down stocking, inventory, safety walks, and store safety.
• Communicate best practices across the team and supervise associates in other departments as needed.
• May occasionally open/close the store or serve as manager-on-duty (MOD).
