Job summary

GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF SOUTHEASTERN LOUISIANA is seeking a Sales Floor Lead to support daily store operations and drive sales performance in New Orleans. The role involves supervising staff when assigned by the Store Manager, maintaining a clean and appealing store layout, and modeling professional behavior for employees and trainees.

Responsibilities include cash handling, merchandise rotation, and helping to train new hires in line with company policies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to interact professionally with a diverse array of people.
• Must be able to market Goodwill and explain the mission to the general public.
• Must establish and maintain effective working relationships with store and production personnel.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register to totalsales, accept payments, authorize voids, returns and credits.
• Ensure proper rotation of store merchandise.
• Stock the sales floor adequately and maintain a clean, presentable store environment.
• Monitor and balance cash receipts and perform deposits as needed.
• Attend regularly scheduled shifts and assist in store management duties.
