Job summary

GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF SOUTHEASTERN LOUISIANA is seeking a Sales Floor Lead to support store operations and sales performance. The role involves supervising tasks, ensuring accurate cash handling, and maintaining a welcoming store image while adhering to company standards.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends while supporting store management.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 6 months supervisory experience or 90 days service industry experience.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly in English.
• Experience in service industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register, process payments, and handle voids, returns, exchanges and credits.
• Ensure proper rotation of store merchandise.
• Act as a positive role model and motivate employees and trainees.
• Stock the sales floor and maintain a clean, attractive store image.
• Keep store clean and hazard-free; clean bathrooms as needed.
• Observe safety policies and ensure compliance by staff.
• Attend scheduled shifts and complete daily floor checks.
• Record and balance cash receipts and perform deposits.
