Job summary

GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF SOUTHEASTERN LOUISIANA seeks a Sales Floor Lead to manage cash handling, merchandising, and floor supervision. You will model professional behavior, ensure a safe, clean shopping environment, and help train associates during regular shifts.

You will coordinate with store management to maintain displays, assist in scheduling, and support in payroll and paperwork as required. This role requires a positive, role-model approach and flexibility for shifts.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 6 months supervisory experience or a minimum of 90 days in the service industry.
• Read, write and communicate clearly in English.
• Prior work experience in the service industry preferred.
• Must successfully complete Retail training.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register: process payments, authorize voids, returns, exchanges and credits for merchandise.
• Maintain proper rotation and display of store merchandise.
• Stock the sales floor and maintain a clean, presentable store environment.
• Assist in training and mentoring Sales Floor Associates and other staff.
• Record and balance cash receipts and handle deposits; observe safety and policies.
