Job summary

GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF SOUTHEASTERN LOUISIANA is seeking a Sales Floor Lead to support daily store operations and drive sales performance while adhering to company standards. This role may assume supervisory duties in the Store Manager's or Sales Floor Manager's absence and during scheduled hours.

Key responsibilities include cash handling, proper merchandise rotation, maintaining a clean and inviting store, and mentoring Sales Floor Associates.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 6 months supervisory experience or 90 days in the service industry preferred.
• Must read, write and communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day store operations and meet or exceed budget.
• Tote cash register totals, process payments, authorize voids, returns and exchanges.
• Ensure proper rotation of store merchandise and maintain a clean, presentable store environment.
• Act as a positive role model and mentor to employees and trainees.
• Assist in supervising, disciplining and recommending discharge of staff when needed.
