Job summary

GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF SOUTHEASTERN LOUISIANA is seeking a Sales Floor Lead to assist with day-to-day store operations and sales performance while upholding company standards. You may act as a supervisor when assigned by the Store Manager or Sales Floor Manager, and leadership duties may be performed during scheduled shifts.

The role emphasizes supervising staff, ensuring accurate cash handling, merchandising, and a clean, welcoming environment for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 6 months supervisory experience, or at least 90 days in the service industry.
• Read, write and communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register, process payments, and balance receipts.
• Ensure proper rotation and display of store merchandise.
• Model professional behavior and mentor staff and trainees.
• Keep the sales floor stocked and store clean to project a positive image.
• Maintain safe conditions in shopping areas and comply with safety policies.
