Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana seeks a Sales Floor Lead to assist with daily store operations and drive sales to meet budget while upholding company standards. This role may supervise when the Store Manager or Sales Floor Manager is unavailable and may act in a supervisory capacity during scheduled hours.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED and 6 months supervisory experience or 90 days in service industry.
• Read, write and communicate clearly in English.
• Prior service-industry work experience preferred.
• Retail training completed.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register to finalize sales and handle payments.
• Ensure proper rotation of store merchandise.
• Act as a positive role model for employees and trainees.
• Stock the sales floor and maintain a presentable environment.
• Keep the store clean and hazard-free.
• Maintain safety and personnel policies compliance.
• Perform the duties of Sales Floor Associates as needed.
• Attend regularly scheduled shifts.
• Complete daily floor checks and monthly safety inspections.
• Onboard and orient new hires within the first week.
