Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team in delivering an outstanding in-store customer experience. You will coach associates, delegate tasks, monitor safety, and ensure department coverage while supporting merchandising decisions.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, clarifying needs, identifying solutions, and closing sales. Occasional opening/closing and manager-on-duty shifts may be required; travel is rare.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in a retail environment OR 5 years of experience in a retail environment.
• 1 year of experience in customer service.
• 1 year of experience supporting the unique needs of Pro customers (for Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience providing direction or supervision to teams (with or without direct report responsibility).
• Experience supporting or participating in the process of training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Experience Using Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train associates, delegate tasks, and ensure department coverage.
• Provide greeting to customers, clarify needs, identify solutions, and close sales.
• Coordinate with other departments to meet sales and service objectives.
• Conduct safety walks, report hazards, and follow lifting directions.
