Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team of associates, coach performance, and ensure excellent customer service in the store. The role combines customer-facing duties with back-end operations like inventory and safety walks.

Responsibilities include supervising tasks, ensuring department coverage, and collaborating with store leaders to meet sales and service goals. Occasional opening/closing and limited travel may occur.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in a retail environment OR 5 years of experience in a retail environment.
• 1 year of experience in customer service.
• 1 year of experience supporting Pro customers (Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience providing direction or supervision to teams (with or without direct report responsibility).
• Experience supporting or participating in training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Experience Using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable a team of associates to deliver the best possible customer experience in the store.
• Coaching and training associates, delegating, following up on daily tasks, and managing performance.
• Ensure adequate department coverage and handle customer-facing activities (greeting, identifying solutions, closing sales).
• Oversee non-customer-facing activities (down stocking, inventory, area recovery) and store safety.
