Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team in delivering excellent customer service while maintaining a clean, safe, well-stocked store. You will guide associates, handle daily tasks, and ensure effective merchandising and safety practices across departments.

The role requires supervising customer-facing and back-of-house activities, coaching staff, and possibly serving as manager-on-duty. Some travel to meetings or trainings may be needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3 years retail experience or 5 years retail experience preferred.
• Experience in customer service.
• Experience directing or supervising teams.
• Experience training and mentoring associates.
• Experience cross-functional work.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Ability to obtain applicable sales licenses if required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable a team of associates to deliver the best customer experience.
• Coach and train associates; delegate and follow up on daily tasks.
• Manage performance and ensure department coverage.
• Oversee customer-facing activities and store safety and merchandising.
• Communicate best practices to the team and align with store goals.
• May open/close the store or act as manager-on-duty (MOD).
• Travel not regular; may occur for meetings or trainings.
