Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team of associates, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure safe, well-stocked store operations.

The role spans coaching, task delegation, performance management, and cross-department collaboration to meet sales and service goals. Responsibilities include supervising customer interactions, area recovery, and safety walks, with occasional store opening/closing or MOD duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (3 yrs retail OR 5 yrs)
• 1 year of customer service
• 1 year supporting Pro customers (for Pro Department Supervisor)
• Experience directing or supervising teams
• Experience training, mentoring and developing associates
• Experience working cross-functionally
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as required by law

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of associates to deliver the best possible customer experience.
• Delegate tasks, follow up on daily tasks, manage performance and ensure department coverage.
• Oversee customer-facing and non-customer-facing activities and store safety.
• Engage with customers to clarify needs, identify solutions, and close sales.
• Communicate best practices to the team and coordinate across departments.
