Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team of associates, deliver excellent customer service, and ensure a safe, well-stocked store. You will coach staff, delegate tasks, and manage daily operations to support merchandising and store goals.

Responsibilities include customer-facing activities, inventory management, safety walks, and occasional MOD duties. Regular morning/afternoon/evening shifts and minimal travel may occur.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 3+ years in retail (or 5 years).
• At least 1 year of customer service experience.
• At least 1 year supporting Pro customers (Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience directing or supervising teams (with or without direct reports).
• Experience training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide resources and tools to support those directly helping customers.
• Assist with down stocking and area recovery and input into merchandising decisions.
• Coach employees on safe behaviors and lifting techniques.
• Lead and enable a team to deliver the best customer experience, coach/train, delegate, and manage tasks.
• Occasionally open or close the store or serve as manager-on-duty (MOD).
• Travel to meetings/trainings or support neighboring stores when needed.
