Job summary

You will coach and train staff, delegate daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure department coverage while handling customer interactions, merchandising input, and safety practices across the store.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 years retail experience, or 5 years retail experience.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year of supporting Pro customers (Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience directing or supervising teams.
• Experience training and mentoring associates.
• Experience working cross-functional.
• Experience Using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide resources and tools to support those assisting customers.
• Assist with down stocking and area recovery and merchandising input.
• Coach employees on safety and lifting techniques.
• Lead and enable a team to deliver the best customer experience, manage performance, and ensure department coverage.
• Greet customers, clarify needs, identify solutions, and close sales.
• Oversee safety walks and report hazards; lift safety and directions.
