What You'll Do:

Billtrust is seeking an experienced “hunter” to lead sales efforts in identifying, qualifying, and closing new logo customers for our Business Services vertical team. You will manage complex sales cycles for our SaaS order-to-cash solutions, identify cost-saving opportunities, and demonstrate how our cloud-based solutions can improve and transform businesses. As a Sales Executive, you will have the opportunity to expand our market footprint and drive growth.

  • Identify and prospect potential clients through cold calling, networking, referrals, and online platforms.
  • Deliver product demonstrations and presentations to convey value propositions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Work with pre-sales to develop tailored solutions and proposals.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales Development, and Sales Ops to manage leads.
  • Provide feedback to product and service teams for improvements.
What You'll Bring:
  • Proven success in selling software to VP and C-Level executives, with 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Experience in selling SaaS; Payments, AR, AP, ERP, or FinTech experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the business services vertical is advantageous.
  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles with deal sizes over $150K in ARR.
  • Experience with multi-stakeholder sales environments and various sales methodologies.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both in-person and online.
  • Attention to detail and active listening skills.
  • Technical curiosity and interest in the payments/AR ecosystem.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%, with approximately 2 customer meetings per month.
Compensation and Benefits:

The base salary range is $90,000 - $125,000 annually, with potential incentives such as equity, commissions, or bonuses. Further details will be shared during the interview process.
