Account Executive – K–12 EdTech Sales (East Coast)

Location: Remote (Must reside on the East Coast)

Travel: Up to 75%, including overnight travel | Full-Time

A fast-growing EdTech company is looking for a driven and relationship-focused Account Executive to help expand the reach of its K–12 learning solutions across the East Coast. This role is perfect for a strategic sales professional who thrives on helping school districts solve complex challenges and deliver measurable student outcomes through innovative products.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and manage a pipeline of district-level opportunities from prospecting through close
  • Present and demonstrate EdTech solutions to educators and decision-makers
  • Develop sales strategies that align with goals and exceed quotas
  • Nurture and support long-term client relationships through exceptional service
  • Conduct follow-up outreach at all stages of the sales cycle
  • Travel extensively to meet with clients, attend events, and maintain in-person connections
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitor offerings, and client needs
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in CRM platforms
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, customer success) to ensure seamless experiences
  • Represent the brand at trade shows, industry conferences, and customer events
  • Handle complex negotiations and communicate value clearly and confidently
  • Perform other duties as needed to support sales and customer satisfaction

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, education, or related field
  • 7–10 years of experience in external sales, ideally in K–12 or EdTech
  • Ability and availability to travel up to 75%, including overnight trips (3+ days/week)
  • Strong understanding of education sales cycles, district buying processes, and account growth strategies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A consultative, solutions-oriented approach to client needs and challenges
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
  • A clean driving record and valid driver's license
  • Self-starter with strong time management and organizational skills
  • Experience navigating long sales cycles and managing complex customer relationships
