The Harpeth Franklin Downtown, Curio Collection by Hilton is seeking a Sales & Event Coordinator to support the hotel’s sales team with administrative and sales duties. You will manage schedules, prepare proposals, and assist with group and event details from inquiry to checkout, ensuring timely communication with clients and departments.

Ideal candidates will have 2–4 years of college-level education or equivalent, some Sales/Events experience, and strong organizational skills.

This position will provide the necessary administrative & sales support to the hotel’s sales & event team and will be the point of reference for colleagues and customers alike, by keeping schedules and providing feedback, documentation, and information. The Sales & Event Coordinator will facilitate the team’s activities to help maximize their performance and the solid and long-lasting development of the hotel’s sales success. The Sales & Event Coordinator may also be tasked with performing some direct sales activities depending on the needs of the hotel.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILTIESThe Sales & Events Coordinator will assist in the execution of the administrative process, service, detail, and efficiently communicate to all departments the group & event needs from the time of booking through check out date.Efficiently performing all assigned sales duties including processing incoming leads and executing sales reporting requirements.Ensure all deadlines are met, performing assigned duties, maintaining sales data files, and acting as a liaison between hotel and clients and vendors as directed.Assist in the servicing of groups, events, VIP, and Business Travel guests as directed, and maintain files and sales databases as per company standards.Ensure efficient communication of group & event needs to hotel operations team.Execute assigned sales reporting and ensure all deadlines are met.Monitor phones, voicemails, emails and inquiries and maintain a 2- hour response time when possible.Generate reports, prepare proposals, contracts, resumes, collect details as directed and maintain data integrity of sales system.Process, log and handle gift certificates, and planner points as directed.Attend internal meetings as directedUtilize Microsoft Office Suite, customer relationship management software, and other relevant business software.All other duties and tasks as assigned.REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESTwo to four-year college degree or equivalent education/experience.Sales/Events experience preferred.Ability to manage and organize complex projects and establish priorities consistent with department/club objectives.PHYSICAL DEMANDSOutside sales calls, servicing groups, site inspections, attending meetings, travel and community/ industry functionsLift up to 10 lbs.(amenities when making sales calls, attending trade shows, etc.)Hotel tours, sales calls, trade showsBENEFITS PACKAGECompetitive SalaryDaily Pay!Team Member Hotel Discount ProgramUniforms Provided for most positionsBenefits - Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and other supplemental optionsPaid PTO401k with employer matchFood and Beverage DiscountsTuition ReimbursementWHY THE HARPETH:As historic downtown Franklin's only hotel, we pride ourselves on being a home away from home for our guests and our team members are a large part of that experience.
