Job summary

The Harpeth Franklin Downtown, Curio Collection by Hilton is seeking a bartender to set up, mix drinks, serve guests, and maintain bar standards with a focus on quality service and guest satisfaction.

You will check IDs, handle cash and room charges, and ensure compliance with liquor laws while performing side work and maintaining pars.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Three to six months in a food/beverage service environment.
• Able to mix cocktails correctly and provide wine service.
• Must read and understand English; able to punch buttons and handle cash.

Responsibilities

• Make and serve drinks to guests and cocktail servers following guidelines and safety controls.
• Perform guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Check IDs to confirm drinking age; ring guest checks and process payments per policy.
• Complete liquor requisitions and ensure established pars are maintained.
• Follow state liquor laws and perform side work as scheduled.

Perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner; maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction. Check customer’s identification to confirm that the customer is of drinking age. Ring guest checks; collect cash and process credits and room charges in the exact manner outlined by company policies and procedures. Complete liquor requisitions and supply lists. Know and comply with state liquor laws, obtain Tips certification. Ensure established pars are maintained.
