Affirm, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Sales Engineering to lead a team of Sales Engineers, guide integration decisions, and engage in deals with enterprise merchants. You will develop product- and integration-focused leadership, stay hands-on in technical customer conversations, and shape sandbox-driven solutions.

This role emphasizes leading a high-performing team, building deep product knowledge, and collaborating with Revenue, Engineering, and Product to win new business.

Qualifikationen

• BA/BS degree in business or technology.
• 4–6+ years in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or similar customer-facing tech role.
• 3–4 years of people management experience.
• Hands-on experience with API-based integrations.
• Ability to translate requirements into integration recommendations.
• Excellent communication with developers and business leaders.

Aufgaben

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Sales Engineers with clear performance expectations.
• Participate in deals, supporting live technical discovery and solution presentations.
• Partner with merchant leaders when leadership is needed in deals.
• Develop deep knowledge of Affirm’s products, APIs, and integrations.
• Build, test, and troubleshoot integrations in sandbox environments.
• Apply AI tools in technical work and coach the team to use them effectively.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Revenue to design merchant solutions.
• Translate merchant requirements into actionable product feedback.
