Job summary

Thomson Power Systems (TPS), a Regal Rexnord company, seeks a Sales Engineer to lead growth in the Utility vertical across the United States from a remote base. You will develop go-to-market strategies, build relationships with decision-makers, and pursue long-cycle, high-value grid modernization projects.

You will collaborate with estimating, project management, and service teams to win business and expand TPS's footprint in power delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years outside sales experience, preferably in utilities or public sector infrastructure.
• Proven track record of developing and executing strategic sales initiatives that delivered revenue and margin growth.
• Experience with utility procurement processes, standards committees, or engineering teams.
• Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites (up to 50%).
• Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow the Utility vertical across the United States, focusing on IOUs, municipal utilities, and cooperatives.
• Lead the creation and execution of a comprehensive go-to-market plan for utility customers and procurement processes.
• Engage with utility engineering teams, procurement departments, standards groups, and influencers.
• Drive long‑lead, high‑value opportunities involving front‑of‑the‑meter applications and substation equipment.
• Represent Regal Rexnord values and build long-term lifecycle relationships with utilities, EPCs, integrators, and contractors.
