Job summary

Thomson Power Systems (TPS), a Regal Rexnord company, seeks a high-energy Sales Engineer to lead growth in the Utility vertical across the United States. This role focuses on utilities, cooperatives, and IOUs, selling front-of-the-meter power management solutions including switchgear and ATS.

You will develop TPS's go-to-market strategy for utilities, build relationships with decision-makers, and drive long-cycle, high-value opportunities in grid modernization and DER integration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in utilities or public infrastructure.
• Proven track record of strategic sales initiatives that grew revenue and margin.
• Experience with utility procurement processes, standards committees, or engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow the Utility vertical across the United States, focusing on IOUs, municipalities, and cooperatives.
• Lead the go-to-market plan tailored to utility customers and procurement processes.
• Engage with utility engineers, procurement and standards groups to drive long-cycle, high-value opportunities.
• Deliver integrated product and service solutions supporting long-term lifecycle relationships with utilities, EPCs, integrators, and contractors.
