Job summary

Huntress, a remote-first cybersecurity company, is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer for our growing team. You’ll support our sales group by delivering technical product expertise and guiding customers on how to enhance their security posture.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in sales engineering, cybersecurity domain knowledge, MSP/VAR experience, and excellent communication skills. This role is remote US with travel up to ~25% and a compensation range of $165,000–$175,000 plus equity.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a sales engineering or similar role.
• Experience in the cybersecurity industry and familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks.
• Experience working with or within MSPs or with VARs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences, including C-level executives.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers to help increase their security posture
• Review and highlight potential security problems to customers' technical teams while positioning Huntress as a solution
• Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering on voicing customer needs
• Spot opportunities for improvement in a fast-moving environment
• Ability to travel ~25% of the time to meet with customers
