Optimum in Bethpage, NY is seeking a Sales Engineer to provide on-site and in-house pre-sale support for complex voice, data, and video solutions, and to support post-implementation activities. You will work with the Commercial Sales team to design, present, and tailor networked connectivity solutions that meet customers' needs.

The role requires at least 5 years in telecom/technical sales, strong IP networking knowledge, and hands-on experience with Visio, Salesforce, and MS Office.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 5 years of Telecom/Technical Sales experience.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking and enterprise wireless networks.
• Proficiency with Visio, BlueBeam, Salesforce and MS Office 365.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide Sales Force with pre-sale technical expertise.
• Consults with Account Executives on technical questions and concerns regarding network design.
• Participate in presentations to potential customers describing the strengths of Optimum services.
• Use Consultative and Application Selling techniques to enhance revenue and customer satisfaction.
• Assist Sales Rep with sales opportunities requiring Visio diagrams.
• Interface with customers to determine technical requirements for Optimum services.
• Translate techno-speak to plain English for customers and internal personnel.
• Ensure customers’ requirements are met and procedures followed.
• Assist in gathering data to respond to RFPs/RFI's.
