Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Sales Engineer (DoW) to support pre- and post-sales activities for defense and public-safety markets. You will work with Sales, Marketing, and BD teams to tailor solutions, deliver demonstrations, and assist with product development.

The role requires up to 50% travel and allows 100% remote work depending on location. You will report to the Director of Sales Engineering within the Sales Engineering team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field; 2+ years in pre- and post-sales technical support, or HS Diploma with 6+ years in pre- and post-sales support.
• Proficiency with RF instruments such as signal generators and spectrum analyzers.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one within 15 months.
• U.S. Citizenship required due to government contracts.
• Background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support including planning and training.
• Demonstrate and explain Silvus' radios and networking solutions.
• Travel to customer sites for support and demonstrations.
• Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot field issues.
