Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, is seeking a Sales Engineer for the Department of War (DoW). You will work with Sales, Marketing and Business Development to tailor solutions, perform demonstrations, and support customers across DoW programs.

This role involves significant travel and remote-work flexibility depending on location. The position reports to the Director of Sales Engineering and requires entrepreneurial technologist capabilities, customer interaction, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or HS Diploma with 6+ years in pre- and post-sales support.
Proficiency with RF instruments such as signal generators and spectrum analyzers.
Willingness to travel and work at customer sites.
Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain one within 15 months of hire.
U.S. citizenship due to government contracts.
Background check and drug test required.

Responsibilities

Provide pre- and post-sales technical support, including system planning and training.
Conduct product demonstrations and support customer evaluations.
Visit customer sites for technical support and training.
Troubleshoot field failures and assist product development feedback.
Travel up to 50% for meetings, events, and demonstrations.
