Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Sales Engineer for DoW to support pre- and post-sales activities, delivering tailored radio and mesh-networking solutions to defense and public safety customers. The role includes demos, field support, and collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development.

The position reports to the Director of Sales Engineering and allows up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 2+ years pre- and post-sales technical support experience, or HS diploma with 6+ years experience.
• Proficiency with radio frequency instruments such as signal generators and spectrum analyzers.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months of hire.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support including system planning and training.
• Explain operation and advantages of Silvus' radio and networking solutions.
• Prepare and conduct product demonstrations for customer visits.
• Visit customer sites to provide technical support and training.
• Troubleshoot field failures and provide feedback to development team.
• Travel up to 50% for meetings, events, and demonstrations.
