Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, is seeking a Sales Engineer – Department of War (DoW) to join a team delivering mission-critical radio and mesh networking solutions to U.S. government and defense customers.

The role involves pre- and post-sales support, product demonstrations, and collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development, with up to 50% travel and a focus on customer success and field deployments. Remote work may be possible depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in pre- and post-sales technical support.
• Willingness to travel and obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support including system planning and training.
• Become an expert on Silvus’ radio and networking solutions and advantages.
• Prepare and conduct product demonstrations for customer visits and evaluations.
• Visit customer sites to provide technical support and training.
• Troubleshoot field failures and abnormalities; provide feedback to development team.
• Assist in design verification and hardware maintenance to support sales activities.
• Participate in future product development and resource allocation.
• Travel 50% for meetings, events, and demonstrations.
