Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Sales Engineer for Building Automation Systems in the United States. This role drives new business and supports existing accounts by managing the full sales cycle for building automation projects, focusing on plan-and-spec, design-build, and direct owner opportunities.

The candidate will translate technical requirements into competitive controls solutions while partnering with operations to ensure successful project execution, with responsibilities spanning relationship

Qualifications

• Strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience in HVAC controls or building automation preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain customer relationships.
• Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and pricing from plans and specifications.
• Manage opportunities from pursuit through project handoff.
• Track project scope, schedule, and cost changes.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and CRM documentation.
• Present BAS software demonstrations and service offerings.
• Support margin management and post-project follow-up.
