Job summary

PitchBook, a Morningstar company, seeks a Sales Engineer to provide pre- and post-sales technical expertise for data feed and API solutions. You will work with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and IT teams, translating complex technologies into client-ready capabilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in sales/solutions engineering, customer success, or technical sales.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience in at least two of the following areas: financial markets knowledge, strong technical skills, or sales/customer success expertise.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical expertise and ongoing consultation to PitchBook clients and prospects related to data feed and API solutions.
• Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to determine and implement technical solutions for clients and prospects.
• Coordinate with Product, Technology, and IT teams to communicate features and underlying technologies to clients.
• Collaborate with remote development teams to build client solutions for data feed and API products.
• Manage a queue of client or prospect requests for technical solutions and specs.
• Work with Product teams to share customer feedback and suggestions.
• Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling.
• Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested.
