Job summary

PitchBook is seeking a Sales Engineer to support our API and data feed solutions, aiding both Sales and Customer Success teams. You will translate complex technical details into client-ready guidance and collaborate across Product, Technology, and IT to ensure successful deployments.

The role emphasizes pre- and post-sales consulting, working with enterprise clients, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of data offerings. In-office work is required five days a week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in sales/solutions engineering, customer success, or technical sales.
• Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and a familiarity with sales pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical expertise and ongoing consultation on data feed and API solutions.
• Partner with Sales and Customer Success to determine and implement technical solutions for clients.
• Coordinate with Product/Technology/IT to communicate platform features and underlying tech to clients.
