Job summary

PitchBook is seeking a Sales Engineer to support our API and data feed solutions, helping clients integrate PitchBook data into AI workflows and MCP server environments. You will work with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to craft technical solutions for enterprise clients.

The role emphasizes pre-sales demonstrations, proofs-of-concept, and post-implementation support, with in-office collaboration in a fast-paced, growth-oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 3+ years in sales/solutions engineering, customer success, or technical sales.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience with enterprise clients (banks, consulting firms, Fortune 500).
• Experience with API/data feed products and AI workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert for Direct Data APIs, data feeds, and MCP server through pre-sales to post-implementation.
• Advise clients on integrating PitchBook data into AI workflows and MCP.
• Collaborate with Commercial team to determine technical solutions for clients.
• Partner with remote development teams to build client solutions.
• Manage a queue of client/prospect requests for support, data samples, and feedback.
• Share client feedback with Product/Data Operations to drive enhancements.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to foster trust and upsell opportunities.
• Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling.
• Participate in various company initiatives and projects.
