Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling is seeking a Training Specialist-Sales to enable the sales team through in-person, online, and self-paced learning. You will identify training needs, develop content, deliver mandatory and developmental trainings, and maintain training records in collaboration with HR and Sales.

The role emphasizes onboarding new hires, planning quarterly training, and coaching to improve performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in outside sales roles with training delivery experience.
• Experience creating training content and leader’s guides.
• Proficient with MS Office applications, especially Excel & PowerPoint.
• Certifications in instructional design are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding & Development: manage monthly onboarding, 30/60/90-day tracking.
• Training Planning & Delivery: develop quarterly plans; deliver in-person and virtual sessions; track attendance.
• Content & Program Development: collaborate to create and update training content; reflect evolving sales strategies.
• Performance Support & Coaching: conduct field observations; coach sales reps for improvement.
• Learning & Adoption: promote eLearning use; measure training effectiveness and feedback.
• Stay current on industry best practices in sales training and learning trends.
• Other duties as assigned.
