Job summary

Cengage Group in San Diego, CA seeks a Sales Consultant to provide critical administrative support to the Strategic Accounts Team and Regional Directors. You will help map content, update systems, process orders, and review billing while aligning contracts and supporting territory execution.

Key duties include updating Salesforce, generating reports for opportunity analysis, and coordinating with multiple teams to drive revenue and customer engagement.

Qualifications

• BA or BS degree strongly preferred.
• At least two years of successful sales or customer interaction experience.
• Direct sales, marketing or editorial experience.
• Experience working with digital sales products/applications and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Support sales execution and administrative operations.
• Plan, organize, and support selling strategies with leadership.
• Update Salesforce: opportunities, accounts, contacts, activities.
• Pull and organize CRM/Sales Operations reports for analysis.
• Assist with contract alignment, order processing and billing questions.
• Manage content mapping and other sales support activities.
• Support marketing/sales initiatives for account development.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners to ensure coverage.
