Job summary

Upgrade is seeking a Sales Enablement Specialist to design and run training programs for the Home Improvement sales team. You will build onboarding curricula, lead our weekly learning series, coach reps, and collaborate across Underwriting, Risk, Merchant Support, and Product to ensure accurate, up-to-date training.

You will translate complex financial concepts into practical training and help contractors grow their business.

Qualifications

5 years of experience in education, sales enablement, or corporate training.
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills — comfortable leading a room.
Ability to translate technical or financial concepts into clear, practical training.
Strong cross-functional collaborator who can work with Sales, Risk, Product, and Support.
Experience in fintech, lending, or financial services a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and continuously improve training and certification programs for our sales team.
Lead new hire onboarding, including our structured onboarding cycle for new hires.
Plan and facilitate our weekly team-wide learning session, covering product updates, market trends, and skill-building.
Coach individual reps on sales technique, product knowledge, and financing concepts.
Partner cross-functionally with Underwriting, Risk, Merchant Support, and Product teams to keep training current and accurate.
Build and run our summer internship program.
Own other projects as assigned.
