Job summary

Haus of Portraiture in Santa Monica, CA seeks a General Manager to own day-to-day operations, drive bookings and sales, and safeguard the client experience. This on-site, full-time role reports directly to the CEO and leads a team of 35 across two locations.

You will own scheduling, payroll oversight, inventory, reporting, and budgets while ensuring profitability and the brand’s 5-star client experience. Strong leadership and multi-location operations are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership/management experience in a service-based retail environment.
• Strong grasp of operations, staffing, and sales to drive profitability.
• Comfortable with numbers, budgets, and reporting.
• Track record of thriving in fast-paced, multi-hat environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive and motivate the sales and booking teams across two locations.
• Own studio systems, SOPs, and workflows; optimize processes.
• Onboard, coach, and hold staff accountable to performance standards.
