Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent
1-3 years experience
1-3 of retail management experience (or customer-focused experience)

Responsibilities

Collaborates with Store Manager to develop annual growth plans and forecast 90+ days out; ensures operational strategies support long-term success.
Directly manages Captains and indirectly guides broader store team through coaching and development; accountable for performance reviews and promotions.
Upholds merchandising and presentation standards; drives programs like loyalty, warranty sales, card enrollment; models exceptional athlete experiences.
Leads training initiatives and cross-training; ensures teammates are equipped to deliver elevated athlete experiences and develops growth plans.
Partners with Store Manager on staffing and payroll; oversees scheduling to align with budgets and traffic trends; ensures schedule flexibility.
Hires and builds strong teams with targeted sourcing and interviewing; makes hiring decisions for Captain (Supervisor) roles and hourly staff; coaches on interviewing and team-building.
