Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Sales Director focused on the Utilities sector to own sales strategy, revenue growth, and executive engagement across utility accounts in the US. You will drive multi-year opportunities across Networks, Cloud, and Services, coordinating with solution, product, and delivery teams to shape competitive proposals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in enterprise sales or sales leadership.
• Experience selling to utility customers or critical infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of hyperscaler cloud platforms.
• Understanding of utility buying cycles and procurement.
• Ability to create differentiated value propositions and ROI.
• Experience leading cross-functional pursuit teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the Utilities sales strategy, revenue growth, bookings pipeline, and account priorities.
• Partner with KAM teams to develop account plans and joint engagement plans.
• Build and advance a sustainable pipeline of new-logo, modernization, expansion, and managed services.
• Position Ericsson as a strategic tech partner in private networks and 5G/IoT.
• Develop trusted relationships with utility execs, IT/OT, cybersecurity, procurement.
• Lead the commercial sales cycle from qualification to negotiation and close.
• Translate customer strategies into differentiated sales offers.
• Coordinate with solution, product, delivery, services, legal, finance, and partners.
• Build relationships with ecosystem partners to support outcomes.
• Drive expansion and upsell across networks, cloud, and managed services.
